We know the fifth food group is butter and other high fat content foods. If your gallbladder is starting to give you fits...try taking 1200 mg. of lecithin with your meals. I don't leave home without it!
Maybe this is a silly question, but how does one know when her gallbladder is giving her fits?

ReplyDeleteIf you have pain in your back between your shoulder blades...especially if you are not large breasted.
If you just don't feel good after eating certain fried foods....I can no longer eat regular potatoe chips.
But the best way to know is...by BM's. Sorry to be graphic but... They should be brown to dark brown. If they are light or more orange brown you are not producing enough bile to break down fat. That's what the lecithin is suppose to help with...breaking down the fat.
